No matter your reason for visiting our little slice of paradise, Jom and Monica have a vacation rental to suit your needs. 

Our condos are in an ideal location for getting to Moody Gardens, Schlitterbahn Water Park or, for one of the many dance/cheerleading competitions, the Galveston Convention Center.  Driftwood Dreams I, II, III and Pelican Pad condos are only 2 miles to Moody Gardens and Schlitterbahn. They are also right across Seawall Blvd from Babes Beach and only 10 blocks to the convention center.  Consider taking the Galveston Island trolley to get around the island. There is a trolley stop right in front of the condo complex and is only a dollar per adult (kids are free with adults) and can take you all the way to the Historic Pleasure Pier, the Strand and even Schlitterbahn.  

Headed to the Strand for one of the island's many festivals like Dickens on the Strand, Mardi Gras, the Lone Star Rally, Octoberfest or the Galveston Beer festival and Chili Cook-off?  While the condos are well suited for getting to The Strand, Flip Flop Flamingo, our 1907 cottage in the Historic District, with a hot tub, is less than a mile to The Strand. This cozy cottage is in a perfect location to visit one of the many museums....Bryan Museum, Moody Mansion, Menard House, Railroad Museum...... or the annual Historic Homes Tour. 

Need a bit more space than Flip Flop Flamingo, but want to still stay in town where the action is?  Consider our comfortable former residence-now-vacation-rental, Aquatic Sol Pool House.  Situated on a nice quiet street, just 3 blocks to the Seawall, the Pool House has everything for a excellent family vacation......sizable in-ground private pool, walking distance to several restaurants and bars, free street parking, TVs in every bedroom, and jacuzzi bath tubs. As a perfect mid-town location, you'll be less than a mile to the Pleasure Pier, 2 miles to the Galveston Convention Center or The Strand, and less than 4 miles to Moody Gardens. 

The West End of Galveston Island is where you'll find the highly desirable Village of Jamaica Beach. The community has a drivable beach, community pool and marina. Away from the crowds of town but still close enough to all major Galveston attractions. Each of our family-friendly Jamaica Beach vacation rentals accommodate at least 10 overnight guests, are pet friendly** and have features our in-town properties don't have. The gem of our Jamaica Beach vacation rental houses is Lazy Daze Beach House. A large home perfectly situated for multi-generational family groups. A quick 100 steps to the sand, sun and fun, multiple balconies for sunrise and sunsets, and plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms. 

Last, but certainly not least, for the fisher-people coming to town, 2 well-situated canal homes in Jamaica Beach. Both of our canal homes have private boat docks, under-water fish lights and kayaks. Reel Palms is on the main canal, has a fish cleaning station, comfortable cushioned ground level seating, bicycles and classic island décor.  A few doors across the street is family entertaining Bayside Breeze canal house.  Situated on a different canal, it provides entertainment for family members of all ages. On the ground level, along with the boat dock are picnic tables, Adirondack chairs and a private 8 person hot tub. Right next to the hot tub, is the door to the game room complete with billiards, foosball, poker table, smart TV, and Tiki bar. Don't overlook the upper deck amenities with 2 oversized Palapa huts to provide plenty of shade during those hot summer days, plenty of seating and great fishing off the deck.
